The Memoir of a Mild Mannered Midwestern Minor
Pleased to make your acquaintance.
My name is Sara. I’m
seventeen eighteen (woot woot) years old.
I adore the capitalization of elongated confabulation. In other words, I like using extended dialog. I enjoy expressing my emotions using rage faces, and you can usually find me somewhere inside of a book.
Yes, Nebraska. Indeed! It is as prosaic as they say it is! Yes, there is nothing in Nebraska that one really can actually accomplish. But, for some unimaginable motive, I am copiously in love with it. (it’s probably the cattle)
I live on a ranch, where we raise about 900 head of Hereford and Red Angus cattle. I am addicted to four wheelers and traveling at excessive momentums.
I would like to become a physical therapist, which is why I’m in all the godforsaken health classes. (which are all kicking my ass)
My dream job, of course would be to be on Broadway. Which of course wouldn’t be a job, it would be perfect. But I like solid ground, and that’s a bit of a shot in the dark.
I’ve been to New York once, and I would go back (and will go back) in a heartbeat.
My tumblr name stems from a quote from my friend while trying to open a popsicle. It is spelled incorrectly in my name because I have an inability to spell popsicle the correct way, and am now to lazy to change it.
I think of my blog as the actual me. People who read it, well, they know more about me than most of my friends do. Who I am, without any limits.
Steve Jobs was, and is, my idol. I’m nicer than him, and I do care what other people think of me; but he represents everything that I want to be. He went out, and against all odds, did what he wanted to do. His words inspire. His thoughts are priceless.
This is my favorite speech that he ever gave. If you need some encouragement, I strongly suggest watching it. It’s positively awe-inspiring.
-Steve Jobs Stanford Commencement Speech 2005
Hmmmm, let’s see, what else is interesting about me.
I really have no life.
I ADORE playing piano, and I play the organ for our church. My favorite piece right now is
Clocks by Coldplay I Am The Doctor by Murray Gold. I play that the majority of the time (which drives my mother up the wall)
If I’m following you, I’m probably reblogging the crap out of you. Take this as a compliment.
If you have any books that you think I would like, please tell me. I love reading, and I’m open to everything. Literally, Barnes & Noble owns me. I, solely, am keeping their doors open.
I love dystopian societies (as you can tell) so anything in that genre will make me happy. Also, anything that goes along the lines with The Mortal Instruments Series would be perfect. Those have actually overtaken my love for the Hunger Games. *Gasp* Yes, I know. I didn’t think it was possible either.
I love tumblr people, you are better than my actual friends. I do not find it creepy if you ask me things, or want to talk me. That’s what the ask box is for. I would love to actually talk to some of you guys.
We could be best friends :)
So, that’s really all I’ve got for you. Please follow along and join me in the madness.
May your butterbeer be creamy, may your bread be warm, may your angel ever tick, may your runes shine bright, and may the odds be ever in your favor.
